Cheryl A. Ward was born in Hagerstown, Maryland, and spent much of her youth in Satellite Beach, Florida. After graduating from Satellite High School, she attended Florida Atlantic University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Trade, and Administration.
She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Stetson College of Law, where she received awards for organizational leadership and pro bono service. During law school, Mrs. Ward gained diverse legal experience, serving as an Extern to the Honorable Judge Cabella in Circuit Court, an Intern for the Manatee County Attorney, a Certified Legal Intern at Gulfcoast Legal Services, a Legal Clerk in a civil private practice, and Vice Chair of the American Bar Association Committee.
Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2017, Mrs. Ward began her career focusing exclusively on litigation and trial work before opening her own practice. Today, she serves clients in matters involving Elder Law, Probate, Wills, Estates, Trusts, Guardianship, Contract Law, Criminal Defense, and litigation in these areas. She is especially passionate about protecting vulnerable individuals, with a strong focus on cases involving exploitation.
Outside the courtroom, Mrs. Ward enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. Her commitment to her clients mirrors her dedication to her own family—helping others navigate life’s legal challenges with compassion and skill.
